Description

This hydraulic pressure accumulator serves as a buffer for the AWD system.  It dampens the pressure spikes as the AWD engages and improves the smoothness.  It is composed of a bladder that is filled with nitrogen.  The hydraulic pressure acts against the bladder as a cushion.  It’s comparable to a shock absorber for the hydraulic pressure.
